There can be such an aversion to booking a maternity session. Trust me…this is coming from someone who did not book her own! And while I give myself grace because I know where my head was during that time, I do wish I had some quiet, beautiful moments on camera with me and my bump. I get it. We feel vulnerable - both physically and emotionally - and if you add that to the apprehension that comes with being on camera (for most), it’s easy to let these photos go by the wayside. Please reconsider! Make sure you document one of the most unique and precious times in your life.
Every time a family chooses me to document their family photos, I feel humbled. It’s a seemlingly simple task, but the importance is overwhelming. It’s so important to have photos taken with your loved ones and freeze some moments in time.

Pets are family…this is not a debate. It’s a fact. Pets complete us in ways other humans cannot, and we don’t deserve them! We get the privilege of raising them and showing them the world. It’s important to document our time with them just as you would another loved one. Pet photoshoots are one of my favorite things! Never mind how cooperative they are…we always end up capturing the glorious chaos and bursting-at-the-seams energy they bring to photos. Book your pet photoshoot with you alone or include them in any other group shoot!
